Results of Chef of the year and Bartender of the year contest

Basseterre: October 29, 2009.

After a great day of competition the St Kitts and Nevis Hotel and Tourism Association is happy to announce the winners of the two competitions that were held yesterday October 28th at La Cucina Restaurant at the St Kitts Marriott Resort.

Chef of the year competition:
Winner: Renaldo Mills, from the Golden Rock Hotel, Nevis
1st runner up: Gregory Austin, Ocean Terrace Inn, St Kitts
2nd runner up: Lionel Garnier, The Beach House, St Kitts

Bartender Competition:
Winner: Latasha Merritt, St Kitts Marriott Resort, St Kitts
1st runner up: Steve Hobson, Oualie Beach Resort, Nevis
2nd runner up: Karen Browne, St Kitts Marriott Resort, St Kitts

The competition was tight and competitive throughout both competitions and the points between each competitor were very close, the judges worked hard in their deliberation.
