Accommodations on Nevis can provide service and
intimacy not available on many of the betterdeveloped
islands. The uniqueness of places to stay is
unparalleled in the Caribbean. There are five gracious
plantation inns, a five-star resort, several smaller hotels and
many guesthouses, plus a wide variety of private villas to rent.
The largest hotel The Four Seasons Resort Nevis with 196 rooms is known for its
outstanding service, award-winning Robert Trent Jones golf course and luxurious spa. The
Four Seasons and Nevis have become almost synonymous.
Located along the long stretch of Pinney’s Beach overlooking fantastic sunsets and
the island of St. Kitts, Four Seasons has
expanded to accommodate its many
visitors. A new beachfront swimming pool
is on tap as well as a beachfront restaurant
at the north end of the property.

The popular kid’s program with
colourful kids’ club, and kiddie buffet line,
make it the perfect place to stay with
youngsters. Even older kids enjoy the
recreation room with pool, TV, and
computer games.
Partially up in the hills overlooking
St. Kitts near the north side of the
island is the Mount Nevis Hotel
and Beach Club, with 28 newly
redecorated guest rooms and suites
with pool, restaurant and fitness
centre. The hotel offers conference
service facilities as well.
For beachfront accommodations,
the Oualie Beach Hotel,
set along the tranquil waters of
Oualie Bay, is very popular with
families with small children. The
hotel is the hub of many of the
island’s recreational activities, such
as mountain biking, and water
sports—diving, windsurfing, and
kayaking.
Right next door, built on the
hillside, are the Hurricane Cove
Bungalows with 12 rustic-style
individual bungalows with fabulous
views of the St. Kitts and the coast
of Nevis. Some of the units almost
hang over the cliffside; some have
private pools, other shared.
Along the water, conveniently
located a short walking distance
from downtown Charlestown is the
Pinney’s Beach Hotel with 32
rooms at the far south end of
Pinney’s Beach. In Charlestown,
there are two other small guest
houses: Sea Spawn, on the main
road, and Philsha’s Guest House
that offers catering accommodations
in 10 private units.
Besides the main hotels, there
are about a dozen bed and
breakfasts, guesthouses, and
cottage-style accommodations
throughout the island, some of
which appeal to the budget
traveller. More and more villas are
being built on the island providing
all types of rental homes—from
simple catering cottages to the
some of the most luxurious holiday
homes with services available
anywhere in the Caribbean.
